Product Description
RXSOL PHPA Polymer Liquid (RXSOL-34-8186-025) is a partially hydrolysed polyacrylamide (PHPA) polymer solution used as a shale inhibitor, encapsulant, and viscosifier in water-based drilling fluids. PHPA adsorbs onto clay surfaces, inhibiting hydration and dispersion of reactive shale formations, which reduces borehole instability and stuck pipe incidents. It also improves filtration control and enhances the lubricity of the drilling fluid. Compatible with most water-based mud systems.
